Congratulations to our Model Citizens! These students were nominated by the Math and Business departments for the theme of Conflict Resolution.
Rebecca Alexis is a model citizen due to the way she helps others in the class. She helps students who are struggling with their work and lends a helping hand to everyone in need. She is friendly to everyone, which helps avoid any classroom conflict. She is a friend to all and a very empathetic person.
Youssef Abouelneil does a wonderful job in class taking time to help the students around him. Youseef goes out of his way to make sure the person he is helping understands the topic. He has an amazing attitude towards all his classmates.
Jolesea Smith is always willing to help her peers in class. When she sees that something is coming up in the course that may cause an issue, she makes sure to let the other students know how to navigate it.
Trust-Lie Alceus uses her problem-solving skills to actively listen to situations, resolve any snags and calmly finds a resolution. She never fails to find new ways to solve problems. She is determined and highly motivated to master new tasks given. Trust-Lie inspires others by her strength of character and tenacity
Saadad Snaho works extremely hard in class. He collaborates with his peers and advocates for himself.
Oghenerukevwe (Rukee) Emorhokpor is a student who recently has gone through an injury. He missed a lot of classes and was in the middle of his wrestling season. He was able to persevere through this injury by not allowing the injury get the best of him by working hard in class, catching up on his studies and still being a part of the wrestling team.
Keira Singh has worked extremely hard to do better in class. Keira asks questions, does all her homework and collaborates with others to better understand the content.
Malia Metellus was recently very helpful to a teacher, which had a positive impact on our school. Her diligence and awareness were greatly appreciated. In addition, Malia also recently returned something valuable that belonged to another student. The student's parent was grateful and wrote the student a letter of thanks. These important contributions to our school make Malia a great model citizen!
