On Oct. 28, the football team honored their seniors in the game against Roosevelt. The football seniors honored were James Driscoll, Gabriel Davis, Christian Halsey, Jacob Rohlehr, Jayson Espinel, Julaan Ince, John Mulligan, Giancarlos Henriquez, Travis Walsh, John Paul Russell, Brendan O'Sullivan, Kevin Hehir, Chase McLoughlin, Thomas Rademaker, Brandon McCollin, Ryan Connolly, Nolan Lally, Joshua Lewis, Benjamin Meighan and Thomas Salotti.
These boys, along with their teammates, had an extremely successful season. They defeated the 1-seed to advance to the County Championship, which was their first appearance since 2006. Their hard work was witnessed by many and the following Knights were acknowledged with awards:
Senior Ryan Connolly – All County; Academic All Conference; Snyder Award Finalist;
Offensive MVP County Championship
Senior Giancarlos Henriquez – All County; Defensive MVP County Championship;
Senior Chase McLoughlin - All County Honorable Mention; Academic All Conference; Kessenich Award Finalist
Senior Benjamin Meighan – All County
Junior Eric Terwilliger – All Conference
Senior Travis Walsh – Unsung Hero
