The district is proud to announce that eight Elmont Memorial High School student-artists and six Floral Park Memorial High School student-artists were recognized for their contribution to the Black History Month Art Display in the Nassau County Supreme Court in Mineola. The students’ artwork was on display at the supreme court for two weeks in February.
On March 4, each student was presented with a certificate of participation from representatives of the Office of the District Administrative Judge.
The Elmont Memorial High School students recognized are Luna Avila, Noah D'Anjou, Shiloh Milfort, Renata Ramirez, Tristan Seide, Nuha Sohail, Miles Smith and Logan Whitehurst.
The Floral Park Memorial High School students recognized are Vince Alvarez, Jessica Diffley, Courtney Gray, Julianne Marquez, Taylor Olech and Chennai Wallis.
