On Sept. 7, ahead of the Floral Park Memorial football team's home opener, the community gathered to dedicate the refurbished press box along Plainfield Avenue to Mary Jane Morra, a teacher, coach and friend. Her legacy will forever be etched into the heart of Floral Park. Her unwavering spirit and commitment to the community were instrumental in making this dedication a reality. Thanks to the generous contributions of the FPM Booster Club, community members, faculty, students and the Morra family, the press box now serves as a lasting tribute to Mary Jane's enduring impact.
