Members of the Science Olympiad Club competed at the Nassau West Division C competition at Kellenberg High School on Feb. 1. Adam Gee and James Urban placed seventh in the “Wind Power” event, where they designed and built a wind power machine to generate electricity. Manraj Singh and Matthew Santos placed third in the “Robot Tour” event, where they designed a robot to undergo an obstacle course. Manraj and Nathan Gee also came in eighth place in the “Astronomy” event.
