On March 5, Erin Kenney was invited to compete in a Scholarship Art Competition at University of Hartford’s Art School. She competed against 60 other students who all scored the maximum points on their art portfolio! This art portfolio is comprised of her work completed in her art classes at Floral Park Memorial. The theme of the competition was “wearable art.” The groups were each given a unique word, and the project they created was to be based on that assigned word. The winners will be announced in two weeks and those victors will receive a full four-year scholarship! Congratulations and best of luck, Erin!
