Sewanhaka High School

On Feb. 11, the Sewanhaka Rockettes participated in the Long Island Dance Team Association’s (LIDTA) Dance Competition at Walt Whitman High School. Middle schools, high schools, and college teams from across Long Island performed various dance styles such as lyrical, jazz, pom, kick and hip hop. This competition brought out the best in the Rockettes and has inspired them to continue to improve and incorporate different moves in future dances. In addition to all the fun, the Rockettes’ Hip Hop performance earned them the first-place trophy.
