On March 15, LIU Post held its annual “Advanced Visions 18: High School Artists of Excellence” exhibit. Over 42 student-artists from high schools throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties that are enrolled in Advanced Placement art courses had their art on display at this prestigious event. Diane Torres and Makayla Simpson from Allison Filippone's AP 2D Design class represented Sewanhaka High School. This year, Makayla received an award of distinction! The Sewanhaka High School’s art department is extremely proud of all our student artists and their accomplishments!
