Sewanhaka High School’s Student Council officers and members of the Sewanhaka Leadership Club attended the Long Island High School Leadership Symposium at Carle Place High School on Nov. 3.
The students met with fellow student leaders from 10 other Nassau County high schools. They collaborated and found solutions to common issues, as well as shared their own experiences.
A multi-district networking group was formed, allowing the students to assist each other in implementing positive changes in their home schools.
