On March 11, the Floral Parks Women’s Club hosted its annual luncheon celebrating exceptional artwork from across Long Island. Erica Romera-Ayala, Lucas Lievano, Michael Sicignano, Kai Lopez, Oscar Zhou, Gurleen Kaur, Karitika, Nathaly Hernandez-Banegas, Tugba Karatas and Lilibeth Arroyo all had piece in the exhibition and were recognized for their artwork by the Floral Park Women's Club in the areas of Drawing, Illustration, Digital Design and Photography.
Erica and Kai were awarded 1st place honors for their artwork; Lucas, Michael and Oscar were awarded 2nd place; and Gurleen and Karitika were awarded 3rd place for their artwork in the areas of drawing and painting. The Sewanhaka High School Art Department is once again very proud of our students’ artistic accomplishments and encourage them to keep creating and expressing themselves through art!
