Congratulations to the five Sewanhaka students who were winners of the annual Irish Cultural Society Writing Contest. Shawana Mayo was a first place winner, and Madison DeMaio, Fatima Haq, Sameer Khan and Adib Ummy were honorable mentions. Students wrote about their or their families’ identity through artifacts that represent their heritage or interests. Congrats to all the winners!
