On Dec. 7, students of Italian Jose Alarco (Level 3), Ashka Tercius (Level 4) and Alex Saccone (Level 4) represented Sewanhaka High School in the Italian Teachers' Association Poetry Contest at NYU Casa Italiana Zarilli-Marimò. Each of them did an excellent job memorizing and performing an Italian poem. The group was able to watch students taking Italian from other schools in NYC perform their favorite works. Complimenti!
