For Black History Month, Ms. Ondris’ seventh grade social studies students worked in pairs to research famous African Americans. The students had to present together to the class on their selected person. The project focused on the lives, achievements, awards and contributions of the person they selected. The projects are going to be displayed outside her classroom as part of Sewanhaka’s Black History Month celebration.
