On March 11, Sewanhaka High School held its International Night showcase. Students performed in ways that represented their heritage and culture. The event was organized by World Language teacher Annalisa Melendez, who said of the event, “Diversity is not about how we differ. Diversity is about embracing one another’s uniqueness. It is with great honor and pride that International Night 2022 represented Sewanhaka’s uniqueness. Our students showcased different cultural and ethnic dances, songs, and readings. It was a night of unity amongst students and staff. We can’t wait until next year!”
