The H. Frank Carey High School community joined together to celebrate homecoming on Oct. 14.
Due to the rain, some of the festivities were moved indoors. The day kicked off with a breakfast for the local community, served by the school’s Dads Club. Principal Jennifer Alaimo, Legislator John J. Giuffrè and Assemblyman Ed Ra also assisted in serving some food. A ceremony was also held to honor the homecoming court, with T.J. Wakely and Mia Vintimilla being crowned as the homecoming king and queen, respectively.
The Carey Seahawks hosted Mepham High School’s varsity football team. The Seahawks played well, winning their homecoming game with a score of 28-0.
