The English Department hosted a reading and poetry workshop with acclaimed poet Kimiko Hahn on March 21. Students from grades 10-12 attended a reading and interactive lecture with her. Seniors Linda Cheung and Safiya Hamdani led the Q&A conversation.
Afterwards, a select group of students participated in a poetry workshop with Hahn. These students were selected after completing an application process. They will meet in successive weeks to revise and publish their poems through Ghostbird Press. Kimiko Hahn's visit kicked off the school’s annual celebration of National Poetry Month.
