Three New Hyde Park Memorial High School students – Abigail Chung, Janice Park and Clayton Yu– were invited to be participants or alternates in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All-State Performing Ensemble in Rochester, NY, from Dec. 5-8.
Abigail was selected to perform in the All-State Symphonic Band on the Bb clarinet, and Clayton was selected to perform in the All-State Symphony Orchestra on the French Horn. Janice was selected as an alternate on the flute.
Students auditioned for this honor last spring at solo and ensemble festivals.
