We’re pleased to announce our Great Gladiators for the month of January!
Seventh Graders:
Georgio Tsigos found a wallet in the library and immediately gave it to a teacher to ensure it would be given back to its owner. He never hesitated and did the right thing!
Ivan Mrakovcic is a Great Glad because he is always willing to help a classmate in need. He comes to class every day with a smile on face and has impeccable manners.
Sameer Salehin is such a highly motivated student and displays excellent work habits, as he is always focused and driven in class. He achieved a perfect score in social studies marking period 2. He also follows rules in class with kindness and respect and works well with others. He always amazes staff when he asks to go to the library and take out another book to read on his down time. He is a pleasure to have in class!
Ismael El Mohtadi stood after class to help another classmate get her belongings together because she was struggling. He is well-mannered and respectful. Ismael is a great role model for all his peers.
Eighth Graders:
Joey Teetz comes to every class he has with a smile and enthusiasm. He participates constantly with great insight, and he helps to make each student feel welcome. He’s the definition of a Great Glad.
Andrea Ross Pineda is an enthusiastic student who cares deeply about causes. Rhea is a class representative on the Student Congress and an important part of the GSA. During No Name Calling Week, Rhea was first to volunteer to make announcements regarding bullying. Rhea leads with her heart and is a very caring and helpful young lady.
