New Hyde Park Memorial High School’s chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) attended the annual FBLA Spring District Meeting at Hofstra University on Feb. 3.
Nine New Hyde Park students competed against students from other schools in Nassau County in various business-related events. Angelica Lopez earned first place in Client Service, Brandon Noguera earned first place in Impromptu Speaking and Mohammed Adam earned fifth place in Public Speaking 2.
All nine students have been invited to attend the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Rochester, NY, from April 19-21.
