This past weekend, the New Hyde Park Memorial Model United Nations team competed at the
Boston University Model UN conference. The conference brought together over 2,000 students from around the world. The delegates debated important topics such as food insecurity in Africa, increasing the popularity of Cricket and combating mental health concerns. New Hyde Park represented the nations of Italy, Oman and Kenya, along with various other individuals. The amount of time and effort put into this conference from all delegates did not go unrecognized.
