On March 13, the district art department hosted a special 20th anniversary student-artist reception at the central administration building to recognize the talents of 25 outstanding student-artists from across the district. Each district art teacher selected a standout masterpiece to be showcased. The event brought together student-artists, district supervisors, teachers and proud family members, all gathering to celebrate the creativity and artistic achievements of these remarkable students.
These students have been granted the unique honor of displaying their artwork at the district’s central administration building for an entire year.
Congratulations to Alyssa Heron, Amanda Johnson, Berenice Hernandez Moreno, Clara Pelissier and Lucy Pesantez Scamaronez from Elmont Memorial; Kaylin Adler, Jeremiah Farrier, Ariana Noto, Amelia Varon and Mia Verde from Floral Park Memorial; Jonathan Barcia, Emily Huang, Ava Maia, Eva Orellanna and Chloé Nicole Urban from H. Frank Carey; Caleigh Grima, Maryam Haji, Kara Tjioe and Bella Vyas from New Hyde Park Memorial; and Ander Desilus, Lucas Lievano, Kutay Melikoglu, Brenda Pacheco, Jess Rolon and Symphony Sievers from Sewanhaka.
